Guided tours of the 12th century priory – 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Discover the latest full example of the simple and stripped Grandmontaine architecture.
The priory of Saint-Michel de Grandmont is one of the best preserved among the 160 Grandmontan monasteries built in the Middle Ages. He is also the last to have kept his cloister that you will not fail to discover during this one hour visit.
Free guided tours of the former 12th century monastery. Regular departures from 10:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Self-guided tours of the estate park and the Coste Rouge Dolmen – 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Prieuré de Grandmont park is home to numerous Neolithic remains including the superb Coste-Rouge Dolmen, classified as a Historic Monument since 1887.
Follow the trails to discover its viewpoints and megalithic monuments!
Stone cutting demonstration – from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
A stone cutter will reveal the steps of stone cutting and its tools to you!
Crumpling demonstration – from 10:00 a.m.
The Terres Rouges de Lodève scout group will present its actions to you and demonstrate its know-how with froissartarge techniques, a scout technique for constructing installations.
Food truck – At Raph’Iné
Au Raph–other invites you to discover his street food recipes “100% homemade” made with fresh produce in the Hérault region (34). Payment accepted by credit card, cash, restaurant voucher.
Refreshment bar and shop on site.
Sunday September 17 only – Accessible discovery walk – 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
